Modesto – Following an exhaustive regional search, the Stanislaus Business Alliance has selected Amber Edwards to fill the position of Public Relations Coordinator. Edwards, a Stanislaus County native, brings a strong communications background and a broad understanding of the opportunities and challenges inherent to doing business locally.
Edwards has worked for a variety of local companies including the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau, University of the Pacific, the City of Ceres, and Stockton Unified School District. She has expertise in public and media relations, writing, editing, strategic planning, publicity, event planning, project management, fundraising, and social media management.
“I am thrilled to join the Stanislaus Business Alliance,” said Edwards. “As a community member the Alliance was already on my radar as an important resource as Stanislaus County continues to expand economically and technologically and to be a part of that movement is really exciting. I look forward to contributing at a high level.”
Chief Executive Officer David White is pleased with the skills Edwards brings to his team. “We are on the threshold of doing huge things at the Alliance and I believe Amber will be a key player in helping us realize our goals,” said White.
